The v2.8.0 update will be released very soon.
Along with the new update, there will be significant changes made to the way Global and National Rankings are determined.

# Ranking System Changes
: Global and National Rankings will be determined by 'World Points' instead of trophy-count.
: 'World Points' can be acquired by winning 1vs1 Matches.
: 'World Points' will reset at the start of each ranking season.
: As such, a maximum trophy cap will be applied in the highest stadium (as opposed to before).

We understand that some of you will be busy acquiring new trophies already after the latest ranking reset on Monday.
To make sure that it doesn't go to waste, a conversion of your hard-earned trophies into 'world points' under the new system will take place as follows.

* From March 16th at 00:00 (UTC) until the release of the v2.8.0 update, 20% of your final trophy-count will be converted into 'World Points'.
* The ranking season will continue with the World Points converted + new World Points you acquire from winning matches.

* (Example) Final trophy count is 5,000 before the update -> Converted into 1,000 World Points -> Start with 1,000 World Points after the update -> Additional World Points can be acquired after the update from winning 1vs1 Matches during the remainder of the current ranking season.
* Please note that this halfway conversion will only take place in the current season. After the next ranking reset, rankings will be determined solely by World Points earned through matches (as was the case with trophies).

* After the update, a trophy-cap will be applied to all stadiums including Sphinx Park and the new Polar Stadium.
