Greetings from the Homerun Clash development team!
With the support of sluggers from all over the world, Homerun Clash is about to celebrate its 1-year anniversary! We can't believe that over 3 million of you have decided to swing away for the fences in our ball parks. It really is the reason why we do this at all. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you :-)
While you sluggers were busy knocking 3.2 billion (that's right... BILLION!) baseballs out of the park, Homerun Clash has gone through many improvements and changes.
For the upcoming v2.0 update, we are planning to introduce many new features and improvements befitting the title ! Starting with the note today, we're planning a couple of sneak-peak previews to show you what you can expect in season 2.
Before we get started, we would like to note that the features we're about to show you are subject to change in case we need to make some final touches for the update!
1. UI/UX Improvements
 - We've always tried to make the layout of the game as simple and easy to use as possible when we first started the project. However, with so many new features added to the game, the layout of the game feels a bit cluttered now.
※ Image is of work in progress. Actual game footage may differ in the final update. - Over the course of servicing the game, we have been monitoring and analyzing what game features users made use of most frequently. - Through this analysis, we've made changes so that the most commonly used features are bigger and easier to see from the main lobby. - Of course, for those of us who are so used to where every button is laid out, it can be a hassle to reacquaint yourself to where everything is again but we really worked hard to make these changes feel minimal and more convenient for you!
 - Also, we grouped all the features that award players in the game together like the check-in calendar, and trophy rewards, etc.
2. New Characters - A thought that frequently crosses our mind when we design new batters in the game is: "Wouldn't it be fun if characters who looked nothing like baseball players suddenly stepped onto the plate with a bat?" Gawain, with his dapper spy suit and Michael T's stylish bling are some examples of where this line of thought has led us so far. - The two new character's we're showing you here started off with the same premise. What we're going to show is the concept art for the two characters, and they may look slightly different in the final version of the update in 3D graphics.
 - The motif for "Larry Blitz" as you can see, is based on a football (American football) player. He will be available after you open Viva Stadium, but we haven't decided on his card grade yet!
 - The motif for "Brodie" is a modern down-to-earth singer-song-writer. Her backstory is that we came in first place at a high-profile singing contest. The card grade isn't decided yet, but she will be made available once you unlock the new 7th stadium.
That's it for Part 1, and we hope you liked what you saw! In Part 2 we'll introduce you to the new 7th stadium to be added in Season 2, so stay tuned.
